Solar panels and battery storage in Cannock

Working in Cannock

Cannock grew as a mining town, so much of its housing is inter-war and post-war semis and short terraces, with newer estates at Heath Hayes, Norton Canes and Huntington and plenty of commercial units along the A5 and the M6 Toll corridor.

The south-facing roofs on many of Cannock's post-war semis are well suited to solar, often with space for a good-sized array and a battery in the garage. Cannock's semis typically have good-sized rear roof slopes and garages or utility spaces where a battery can be sited neatly.

For Cannock (WS11 and WS12), planning applications are handled by Cannock Chase District Council, and highways matters such as scaffold licences, skips on the road and dropped kerbs by Staffordshire County Council. Our yard at Kimberley Business Park is a straightforward run across Cannock Chase on the A460.

How we work

Installations are planned around safe access, neat cable runs and a tidy consumer unit. Scaffolding comes from Staff4dshire Scaffolding, so dates line up and there is no waiting on a third party.

We size systems on your real usage, not on how many panels fit on the roof. That keeps the design sensible and gives you a clear idea of what the system should generate before you commit.
