Solar panels and battery storage in Abbots Bromley

Working in Abbots Bromley

Abbots Bromley is a historic village with a conservation area of timber-framed and Georgian brick buildings around the Butter Cross, set in open countryside close to Blithfield Reservoir.

Rural homes around Abbots Bromley are often off the gas grid, making solar, batteries and heat pumps a particularly good fit; listed buildings and conservation areas need checking first. Many homes around Abbots Bromley are off the gas grid, making heat pumps and solar a strong fit where planning allows.

For Abbots Bromley (WS15), planning applications are handled by East Staffordshire Borough Council, and highways matters such as scaffold licences, skips on the road and dropped kerbs by Staffordshire County Council. Our yard at Kimberley Business Park is roughly seven miles from our yard along the B5013.

How we work

We size systems on your real usage, not on how many panels fit on the roof. That keeps the design sensible and gives you a clear idea of what the system should generate before you commit.

Battery storage can be fitted with new solar or added to an existing system. We explain how a battery would be charged and used in your home, so you can decide whether it is worth it for you.
