Working in Walsall
Walsall has a large stock of Victorian and Edwardian terraces close to the centre, inter-war and post-war semis across Bloxwich, Aldridge, Pelsall and Rushall, and plenty of commercial and industrial premises near the M6.
In Walsall, groundworks often mean tight urban sites, existing services in the ground and traffic management for deliveries and muck away. Walsall's older streets have plenty of shared and combined drains, while its industrial sites bring larger groundworks and surfacing jobs.
In Walsall (WS1 to WS9), Walsall Council handles both planning applications and highways matters such as scaffold licences, skips on the road and dropped kerbs. Our yard at Kimberley Business Park is around seventeen miles south via the A461.
How we work
We start with the drawings, the site investigation (if there is one) and a walk round the site to look at access, levels, spoil volumes and existing services. That lets us plan the dig, the muck away and the concrete pours in the right order and give you a clear programme.
Because the group also runs roofing, scaffolding and building companies, we understand how groundworks feed into the rest of a build. Getting levels, drainage runs and service ducts right first time saves real money later.
